Why The Climb?
I started The Climb because I kept seeing the same pattern: brilliant, driven people reaching a point where the old playbook stopped working — and no one around them could explain why, or what to do next.
That pattern shows up in a lot of different places. The senior leader who is technically excellent but struggling with the relational and political complexity of the next level. The professional navigating a career pivot who knows what they are leaving but not what they are moving toward. The person who looks successful on every external measure but cannot shake the feeling that something is off. Promotions do not fix uncertainty. Stability does not erase doubt. And being capable does not mean you are clear.
Along the way, a few people asked better questions of me than I knew how to ask myself. They did not hand me answers — they helped me see patterns, name tradeoffs, and stop outsourcing my decisions to fear or momentum. Coaching is how I try to offer that same kind of thinking space to others. Not scripts. Not motivation. Just honest, grounded work to help you understand yourself well enough to choose deliberately how you want to live and work next.
Most coaching focuses on behavior. I focus on the thinking that drives the behavior. Change the thinking, and the behavior follows — permanently.

My Approach
I don't believe in cookie-cutter coaching frameworks or recycled leadership models. Every leader I work with is navigating a unique set of challenges inside a unique organizational context.
What I bring to every engagement:
- Deep listening — most coaches are waiting to talk. I'm actually listening.
- Pattern recognition — after years working with leaders across industries, I see patterns quickly and call them out clearly.
- Direct feedback — I'll tell you what your colleagues won't. Diplomatically, but honestly.
- Strategic co-thinking — when you're stuck on a high-stakes problem, we work through it together.
- Accountability without judgment — I hold you to what you say matters to you.
Background
My career spans technology, strategy, and leadership across startups, scale-ups, and enterprise environments. I have built teams, led transformations, navigated complex politics, and made the kind of high-stakes decisions that keep leaders up at night.
Today I work full-time as a Director of Product Marketing in the Enterprise AI industry — so this is not a career I left to coach. I coach because I find it genuinely meaningful, and because staying close to real organizational work makes me a better thinking partner.
That operational experience is the foundation of my coaching. I am not teaching frameworks I read in a book — I am sharing hard-won insight from having lived it.
Outside of Coaching
I write about leadership, career navigation, and the craft of building a meaningful work life on The Climb blog. I am also deeply interested in AI, systems thinking, and building things that matter.
You can also find me on Leland, where I work with clients on career pivots, job search strategy, and leadership coaching in a more accessible format.
